Hi; I am Mrs. Hastings, and welcome to my website!  I have created this website and the blogs within as a means to enhance and enrich my students' learning as well as a medium to communicate to my students' parents and the Auburn community.

How and Why to Use This Website:
It is my great wish that my students and their parents will use this website to their advantage for a positive experience this year in my class! I will try my best to keep this blog up-to-date weekly.

Auburn City:  The Auburn City page includes links to my Auburn High School front page, the Auburn High School website, and the Auburn City Schools website.

About Me:  Under the About Me section is a drop down link to a contact form page.  This form directly links to my email or parents and/or students can email me at [email protected].

Class Pages:  To view updates and announcements according to your/your child's class, simply click on the name of the class; do not choose the drop down menus for announcements and updates--click on the class name only.  If you are looking for the class syllabus, pacing guide, homework, summer reading list, and/or class blog, simply click on what you need from the drop down menu under the class name.  There are also links to these pages and files on the class home page as well, so you could access these without ever using the drop-down menus, but sometimes the drop-down menus makes it easier to find something specific for which you are looking.

Resources:  The Resources page is filled with my favorite links for English Language Arts that are great for students, parents, and teachers.

Again, please use this website to your advantage to stay up to date on information and what is going on in class.  Enjoy!
